In Turkey, state nursing homes affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Services operate with an income-related contribution system.
In state nursing homes, the wage is determined according to the monthly income of the person. Usually 75percent of the monthly income is taken as a contribution.
Monthly contribution between 1,500 TL and 8,000 TL is paid according to income. Free settlement is offered to those with insufficient income.
